With easy access to Denver, Wheat Ridge is near an incredible assortment of events and entertainment, but don't miss out on the stunning offerings of this suburban hub as well as the world's carnation capital.
 
Residents take pride in local events like the Carnation Festival—a longtime tradition based on Wheat Ridge’s storied history as the carnation capital of the world. The festival is held in Anderson Park and offers special events such as a circus, a car show, carnival rides, and a firework display.
 
Wheat Ridge Greenbelt is a lovely 300-acre open space with numerous hiking trails and opportunities to spot wildlife. The Clear Creek Trail is a great one to try! Also, check out Discovery Park, Anderson Park, and Baugh House in the Wheat Ridge Historical Society. Bird watchers enjoy Prospect Park.
