The month of September signals the start of fall, with (hopefully) cooler temperatures, changing leaves and fun events all around Denver. Check out some of the best events we’re really looking forward to this month!
Denver Food & Wine Festival
September 6th-10th
The Denver Food + Wine Festival is a multi-day extravaganza of food, wine, and spirits events presented by the Colorado Restaurant Foundation and Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits! Showcasing the area’s award winning chefs, mixologists, and wine professionals, who will share bites and sips that explore and celebrate Colorado’s dynamic food-and-beverage scene. VIP admission begins at noon and includes access to the exclusive VIP Lounge, with food from high-end restaurants, reserve wines, and live music, as well as early access to the full Grand Tasting lineup of small bites, wines, and spirits.
This is an outdoor event located at Tivoli Quad on the Auraria Campus, at 1000 Larimer Street in Denver. Learn more about the event and get your tickets here.
Denver Oktoberfest
September 16th-18th & 23rd-25th
Grab your stein, throw on your lederhosen and get ready for the 52nd Annual Denver Oktoberfest! This event has been a staple two weekend festival in Downtown Denver since 1969. From keg bowling to stein hoisting, live music and more, there’s something here for Oktoberfest pro’s and first timer’s. This year, general admission is free, but you can get VIP tickets for all you can eat, all you can drink, VIP tent and seating, and more exclusive offerings.

Broncos First Home Game of the Season
September 18th
FINALLY, Football is back! We’re so looking forward to this season and cheering on our new QB1 Russell Wilson! There’s a lot to be excited about, and fans are eager to see how the team performs with quite a few new members of the squad. Mark your calendars to watch our first home game – and Russell’s first as a Bronco! What game are you most looking forward to this season?
